What is Open A Dispensary?
Open A Dispensary is the only package of materials written that allows you to start a medical marijuana dispensary, delivery service, cooperative or collective with simple, plain-english and detailed instructions.
A pre-legalization package has also been put together for the states that have not fully legalized medical marijuana at this point in time. For details, Click Here.
What is the format of the package? How is it delivered to me?
The whole package is delivered to you instantly through a secure digital download. We do not currently offer a physical mailing of the materials. The step-by-step guide is in PDF format to allow you to print it out or put it on your iPad, Sony ebook reader, Kindle or other ebook device. The extensive package of plug & play documents are in Microsoft Word format so you can add your information per the instructions, or change them to your specific needs.
How much does it cost to open a dispensary?
It costs anywhere from $5,000 to $100,000 to open a dispensary and anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 for a collective or delivery service. The price greatly depends on the state that the business will be in. We do cover budgets and the essentials in our material.
What’s the difference between your package, and why should I choose yours over somebody else?
It’s the ONLY one written by actual medical marijuana professionals. Just because someone is a generic lawyer or accountant doesn’t mean they know anything about the medical marijuana industry or running a business. Be weary of those titles. Our guide is the most informative and comprehensive available – bar none. The other guides written by accountants, shady lawyers and pot heads are great if you want hundreds of pages of generic information you can find on the internet put into a document and resold to you. We wouldn’t make our packages available to the public if they were anything like the sad excuses for “how to” packages out there. With our packages, you will be prepared to immediately start the process of opening your business within minutes of purchasing. We provide all of the resources you need including the necessary forms and documents and a list of detailed steps you need to complete and the organizations you need to contact. No one else offers that. If you have questions, we are always here to answer them.
Does your package include information about growing?
Cultivating/growing medical marijuana is a completely different type of business classification under the law and therefore has different steps and legal hurdles than opening a dispensary, collective or delivery service. If anyone tells you otherwise, they’re lying. Growing is outside the scope of our packages. If you are interested in growing, we highly recommend this guide as a great supplement.
How do I know it’s worth it? How do I know that I won’t get in trouble?
No matter what you do, running a dispensary, delivery service or commercial grow is still illegal on a federal level. The safest bet is not to do it. We polled the industry and found a lot of misinformation being propagated by classes and legal professionals and thought it was time that someone wrote a guide to clear the air. We’ve been practicing law for over 10 years in the medical marijuana industry and have spent thousands of hours and years learning the ins and outs of the law and industry to put together this guide for you.
How current are your packages? Do they include the new laws for my state?
Our how to open a dispensary packages are current up to the hour. Within hours of new laws or regulations passed, we update the packages to ensure our customers have the most up-to-date information and instructions possible.
What if I want to start a Delivery Service or Cooperative or Collective?
My city or town currently has a ban on dispensaries or a moratorium, can I still open one up? Why should I get your guide?
The laws and guidelines regarding dispensaries and medical marijuana are changing constantly and moratoriums expire. Many choose to start a collective grow or delivery service instead and the process is the same. There has also been a lot of talk in the press recently amongst both state and federal politicians about moving towards legalization. Much of the process involved in opening a dispensary takes time and research if done properly; by preparing now you can plan and be ahead of the game when a law does change or a moratorium does expire. It’s also a good idea to explore the topic before you decide to get involved in this type of a business.
